This is the sixth year that the exhibition has brought together specialists in the fields of power electronics and energy. The event provides wonderful opportunities to increase the professionalism of staff, share experience with a view to introducing technologies and equipment in one of the key areas of Russian industry, and, most importantly, promote the development of the power electronics and energy industry. The exhibition will also help to attract investment and establish favourable conditions for domestic and international companies in the regions.
With the increased interest of the government in energy and energy saving, and the development of power electronics, such exhibitions acquire a special significance. This is evidenced by the results of the exhibition – contracts for new equipment and components, increased effectiveness of already existing facilities, sharing of experience within the business events and greater business cooperation with international companies.

Energy saving and the introduction of new technologies in the power industry remain important issues for Russian industry. Different types of energy are applied in every area of our lives, and the main objective today is to increase the economic effectiveness of the Russian power industry. This exhibition will promote the rapid development of the industry.
A great number of the exhibitors and visitors are highly qualified specialists, who come to the capital each year to find new technologies and sign profitable contracts.
Since 2008, the exhibition has demonstrated the achievements of two industries: power electronics and energy. As a result, the exhibition has grown, attracting new specialists and providing opportunities for them to cooperate.
I am confident that ‘Power Electronics’ will facilitate the introduction of new equipment, attract further investment in the industry, and provide additional opportunities for developing businesses in the power electronics and energy sectors.

Energy is one of the main sectors of the Russian economy, and has been the engine of the economy for many years.  The achievements of the energy sector are widely used in construction, the housing and utilities sector, and many other areas.  In the present circumstances, the exhibition is particularly timely, allowing the industry to gather in one venue to discuss current issues and present the latest developments.
Given the importance of the topics and the professional organisation of the event, the Department is supporting the project for the second consecutive year. This project is a key event in Moscow, as it brings together companies form two important sectors: energy and power electronics.

The Association actively takes part in the electronics exhibitions organised by Primexpo. The 'Power Electronics' project, which emerged last year as a result of the joining of two different exhibitions, is an important event that promotes innovative technologies, constructive dialogue between business and government, the signing of major contracts, and the development of business relations.
The Association of Manufacturers of Electronic Equipment and Devices is working to increase the proportion of Russian electronics in the domestic market and to increase their export.
